Bishop State Alumni Showdown & Mixer Bring Alumni Together

Bishop State Community College recently hosted its inaugural Alumni Showdown during Homecoming, bringing together graduates from across the decades for a night of school spirit and friendly competition. This year’s challenge, a Battle of the Decades, encouraged alumni to represent their graduating years in full force. The 1990s and the 2000s tied for the win, earning bragging rights for the year and claiming the first-ever Alumni Showdown trophy. But the competition isn’t over—next year, alumni will return to defend their title in a brand-new challenge!

The evening kicked off with the pre-game Alumni Mixer, where former Wildcats reconnected, reminisced, and built new connections over refreshments before heading into the gym to cheer on the Wildcats. The event set the stage for what will become a lasting tradition of alumni engagement and school pride.

With excellent participation and enthusiasm, the Alumni Showdown is set to evolve each year, introducing new challenges and opportunities for alumni to reconnect with Bishop State.
