n honor of Coach Hatt and in loving memory of Coach Billy Pitts, thank you for the impact you have made on the game of baseball and, more importantly, on the lives of so many young men. My 4 year old son believes baseball is the greatest sport in the world and that baseball players are real-life heroes. Because of Garrett Pitts, he dreams of growing up to be a “real baseball player” himself. It is special to see a love for the game and the influence of great people continue into the next generation.
